Emily Bett & Colton Haynes take the Ice Bucket Challenge (with special guest John Barrowman)
Honestly I’m going out my mind! Like people really need to stop hating on people who do not have the same opinion as them.
Since the news of Kris leaving EXO and SM broke out I tried to stay away from all the hate, the haters and everything else. Why? Because I was sad. I didn’t want to say things that I would regret. I didn’t want to jump into conclusion too fast and find myself unable to rewind. So I stayed silent, tried to cope with the news of the member that I first recognized and had interest in EXO was gone.
After the sadness came the anger. I was angry! Angry at Kris for leaving a week before their first concert. Angry at SM for making him want to leave in the first place. Angry at all these reports saying lies or half-statements just to get more hits on their pages.
Then came the hardest part: the pain. The pain of having to go through this not a first time nor a second time or third time but already a 6th time. Yes a 6th time! You think it becomes easier with time? Well, absolutely not, it hurts even more because you didn’t expect it, you believed that you’ve suffered enough and that it wouldn’t happen again but it still does. You try to understand how could you not realize that, you even blame yourself thinking that maybe if you have been a better fan it would have been better. It hurts because everyday you expected good news from your favorite idol but now you know it will never be the same.
Finally, you end up accepting the facts, despite keeping a slightly hope, that maybe everything will go back to normal. You accept and you try to make your own opinion on the matter. And I did, I found myself having an opinion on the subject. I was surprised at first because it wasn’t what I was expecting at first but then I realize that I was allowed to think differently, it is not a crime after all.
So yes, I’m siding with SM for this round. I do wish Kris well in his career but I do believe he wanted to get a bigger part of cake thus why he left the company. I’m also sure someone behind him conspired (a little bit) for him to use SM at his advantage and build a strong fanbase in and out of Korea. But for all of this I’m not mad, he does afterall what is best for him. I am however extremely disappointed at the way he handled and is handling things. Leaving his members a week before the concert without notice was an awful thing to do. Leaving fans in sorrow and going on like nothing happen? Not really classy.
I do wish him well, but I know a storm is coming. The lawsuit is far from being over, and with his two movies and now his mini-album coming up you can be sure SM won’t let him go that easily. Even worse, if Kris isn’t careful enough, his own actions will play against him…afterall you don’t schedule two movies and a mini-album with no rest in between when you are supposedly arguing that the SM treatment gave you a heart condition.
The moral of this rant is simple: you have no idea happen inside someone’s head when something like that happen but you should respect it no matter what. So if you are not happy with one’s opinion, feel like insulting someone for stating their fact, believe they are haters if they aren’t with you, or think that people who don’t have a similar opinion don’t get to have one, then you can kindly GO F**K YOURSELF.
Just your daily reminders:
- Racists are a problem
- White people are not
- Homophobes are a problem
- Straight people are not
- Transphobes are a problem
- Cis people are not
- Sexists are a problem

And most importantly,
- Hating an innocent person solely because of their race, sexuality, or gender makes you a fucking asshole
